Training & Lessons

All driving training will be a minimum of 60 days.

Requirements for Training -

✓ All horses must be safe to halter, groom, handle feet, tie quietly.

✓ All horses begin with our 15-day driving suitability evaluation. 

✓ All owner/drivers will be required to attend one lesson per week. Additional Lessons are $100 hour.

Training will begin with introduction to the harness and ground driving safely, hitching and maneuvers while hitched.

Lessons are customizable to your needs. From harnessing, basic driving and safety to driving multiples or competitively.

We can work with you at your place or ours. We are also available for coaching and assistance at driving competitions.

We have sidesaddles available for most riders if you are taking lessons on our horses.

✓ Basic horse safety knowledge

✓ Assist with all aspects of the horses, grooming, cleaning tack, other barn help. 

 Come and work with us and our Shire horses. Grooming, and other Barn chores as well as exercising and assisting with riding horses. We work with horses from miniatures through large draft.
